In September, for Suicide Prevention Month, it's essential to advance the mission of suicide prevention worldwide. One organization making a difference is a global nonprofit called Jay Walkers.

Jay Walkers has dedicated its efforts to suicide prevention, offering a unique annual walking challenge that brings teams together to complete 800,000 steps collectively. This symbolic number represents each life lost to suicide globally every year. By participating in this challenge, individuals not only pay tribute to those who have been lost but also contribute to raising awareness that will make a difference in suicide prevention.

Beyond just spreading awareness, Jay Walkers focuses on fundraising to support evidence-based suicide prevention initiatives and resources.

By engaging in the Jay Walkers challenge, participants can actively show their support for suicide prevention efforts while also promoting the importance of health and well-being. This initiative serves as a powerful reminder of the impact of suicide on individuals, families, and communities, and the importance of coming together to solve this critical issue.

It's time we all take steps to end suicide.
