CAMS (The Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality)​

Learn the basics of the CAMS Framework®, including how to work collaboratively with your patients to devise effective treatment and stabilization plans in just 10 hours.

This training does offer CEs upon successful passing of the Knowledge Test.

Eligibility

This training is intended for licensed mental health professionals in Virginia cities listed below*.

Enrollment Limits

Enrollment will be based on funds raised in this year's Jay Walkers Challenge.

Cost of Training

Training is FREE. It is made possible by funds raised by Rotary District 7600 during the 2026 Jay Walkers Challenge with a 1:1 match by the Virginia Department of Health.

Training Commitment

This course combines both asynchronous and synchronous components, including the CAMS Book, Managing Suicidal Risk, A Collaborative Approach, 3rd Edition, the CAMS Video CourseCAMS Role-Play Training, and CAMS Consultation Calls.

 

Completion of this course in its entirety can take 10-25 hours.
